Saint Herman of Alaska Commemorative Album, 1970.

This album contains colored prints taken during the canonization of Father Herman in August 1970, at the Holy Resurrection Russian Orthodox Church in Kodiak, Alaska. Dignitaries of the Russian Orthodox Church in America are identified in this collection. The majority of the photographs occur in the church's interior though there are also pictures of the chapel at Spruce Island built over the gravesite of Saint Herman, in 1897, the exterior of the Holy Resurrection Russian Orthodox Church, and images of the Procession of the Relics of the Blessed Father Herman and the Sunday Moleben Service, which take place outside.
